I enjoy the Internet to a point (i.e. want to fall asleep when someone gets technical). I also enjoy watching TV (when there's anything decent on) or relaxing to watch a DVD with a G&T or a cup of tea, depending on the mood, the type of DVD and on whether we have company. It's nice to have friends visit, but it's also nice to have time to relax on our own.
Holidays I love too, it's not only the being away from the British weather for two (or more) weeks at a time, but we enjoy meeting new friends we've spoken to through the Internet and exploring other countries. As will become apparent as you go through the site we love California - been across seven times now on vacation and can honestly say we never tire of it - we have some great friends over there, one in particular who we love to bits - the only problem is we have to come back to the UK after our trip.
One thing that is very important to me is friendship and loyalty in that friendship - sometimes people take advantage of it and of my good nature, but those people always get found out.
It doesn't matter where you are from, but please be prepared to send a photo with your e.mail (or a link to a website with one on). It's always much better to be able to put a face to the messages (and no, we don't respond to "msn" or "cam?" e.mails either).
